If yes, then in all probability, you’re somewhere near Shimla. Ahh.. so you got it now. Yes folks, it’s time for one of the world’s toughest international mountain biking challenge – MTB Himalaya 2013. Starting from Shimla’s famous Ridge Area on September 27, 2013, this cross country endeavour will end on the Ridge itself on October 03, 2013.

A seven day event, it’s a marathon of sorts, where cyclists will be covering 500 km, pedalling along some alluringly rough terrains. The troupe will be setting camps along the route amongst the pines and meadows, a setting so perfect that even seven days will seem less to be on the route.

 You can register for the event in any of the following four categories –

 Open Men Solo

Open Women Solo

Open Masters (age 40 and above) Solo

Team of two

One of the best parts about MTB Himlaya is that you can start off even if you’re an amateur. MTB Himalaya and Team HASTPA will be conducting training sessions, where you can opt for 1,2 or 3 days of training.
