Travelling, for most people, is like holding a pair of binoculars.

We often wander around, gazing at the far away horizon, missing what’s near. It’s more like walking a river bed and missing the fun for your eyes are fixed on the banks. I realised it when I started roaming around my own city, Haridwar. Before writing this story for ixigo, I thought it to be a city that’s always bustling with noisy hordes of tourists.
