So, what did you do for the weekend? While there’s a long to do list lying somewhere by my bedside, and a lot of packing for this week’s Gujarat trip, I chose not to do anything. Except for some photos of course, which is more like a hobby rather than work. With a clear, sunny, blue sky that made for a perfect background, I got some good ones and some not so good ones. This is what you have for a 360 degree view from my house’s terrace. Haridwar once again.
That, right on the top of that hill, is the much revered Chandi Devi temple. A 1.5 hour hike or a ropeway are your way to it.
A mermaid like figure alongside a temple wall. Architecture like this is hard to miss in this city.
Pigeons in full flight around sunset, flying off from the bank of river Ganga.
This squirrel is one of the most regular visitors at my room’s window!
Monks roaming in the lanes of Kankhal, the more ancient area of Haridwar. That guy in purple shirt is busy baking nankhatai, cookies that are more than just amazing.
Colour riot! Haridwar
